First of all the coffee is always good. But you must get the Macau Iced coffee . Nobody or nothing comes close this awesomeness!! Raul the owner is always there to greet you with his warm smile. So glad they will be extending their hours until 5 pm in August .

Vega Coffee is our go to on our morning walks with our doggo. We always get their espresso bean bags because its although its unassuming in flavor, its what makes it good for everyday latte we make at home. However, we also like to support the local business and get a cappuccino or latte for each of us whenever we drop by. We do enjoy an opinionated coffee every now and then but really appreciate just the solid espresso flavor they have with their beans. I'm not very good with describing flavors, but go and try it to see if you love it as much as we do! Owner is super nice and always friendly with us so that's additional plus! So grateful to have such an awesome cafe nearby!

My partner and I stopped by Vega Coffee since we frequently walk by on our way to stores in west SoMa. Both of us ordered the Horchata latte since that appeared to be the signature beverage. There was no wait and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I especially liked the racing decor and news articles regarding SF needing better coffee! I also ordered a spinach/feta pastry from the front display and it was surprisingly amazing (and warm!) The horchata lattes were both good but tasted vaguely of horchata. The espresso quality in the latte was superb! I would leave 5 stars and return more often but there is no outdoor seating (just one table but no chairs.) A few tables/chairs would be great given that there's no indoor seating available. Vega seems more like a grab n go place but some furniture would help bring it to the next level. Overall, I would definitely recommend Vega Coffee!
